I was driving down 5th Street yesterday when I saw my first Capital Bikeshare station. All crisp and clean, free of the impending graffiti and stickers. If I didn't already have 4 bikes I'd sign up for it. Hurray for DC!
I have five bikes, and I joined CaBi anyway! You should do the same. I'm almost 100% positive membership will come in handy in many, many instances. Hell, you can still join at the cheapo introductory rate! Do it.
I have thought about joining anyway but I live in Silver Spring and work in Bethesda and unfortunately not downtown very much. :( So I'll wait until some more stations get built.
I hope you like them. They are a success here in Montreal, not only because they are made here:)
ReplyDeleteAfter two years, the network of stations is growing.

ReplyDeleteThere are two of these in my 'hood -- one at 18th and Columbia and one at the Conn. Ave. end of the Calvert St. bridge. Yay!
