No not her! She's been around for months now...It's my new Surly Cross Check. As you may have read, (probably not), I have been trying to figure out what the perfect multi purpose beat-down machine would be. I landed on this puppy and I am stoked!
I put the Brooks B-17 Special on last night and after the ride today I have a few more mods to do to make this my Ultimate Cross Check.- New shifters as the bar end shifters make me cry.
- Maybe a longer stem with more rise to put me out a little further.
- Fenders
- Some Avid Shorty cantis
All in good time.
Congrats... hitch on the burley and you can have fun with both newcomers at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI built this same bike this winter, except mine's set up fixed for now. I was thinking I'd eventually go to an all road set up, but I wanted the most versatile frame I could get, cause I'm all fickle about my bikes, always chopping and changing.
